Hall of Fame dinner
honoring
Dick & Pat Peters
Thanks to all who turned out to celebrate Dick and Pat on August 24th! It was a beautiful night with a full house, good food and music, and the love for Dick & Pat was abundant!
Hall of Fame
The Cragsmoor Association created the Hall of Fame in 2010 to honor Cragsmoor residents who have contributed greatly to the community. We celebrate them with a formal dinner in their honor which serves as our fundraiser for the given year to help with costs associated with the preservation of Bear Hill.
This summer we are honoring Dick and Pat Peters, longtime residents of Cragsmoor, both of whom have given greatly of their time and energy to keep our community vibrant and healthy. Dick has served on the Cragsmoor Association board for decades, as well as the Cragsmoor Volunteer Fire Department, the Cragsmoor Historical Society, the Ellenville Regional Hospital, and the Ellenville Noonday Club. Pat has served on the Ellenville School Board and the BOCES board. They both founded and ran Peters Market in Napanoch for 47 years before retiring, where, as a registered nurse, Pat founded the Natural Foods section, acting as a nutritional guide to health-conscious customers. She is a contributor and editor of the Cragsmoor Historical Society journals. She has also been a creative force with her beautiful photographs of Cragsmoor and environs.
